Evening Closure and Detour of the Trumbull Street On-Ramp to I-91 NB and SB and the State Street On-Ramp to I-91 NB in New Haven is scheduled to occur Thursday, June 28th, 2012
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an evening closure and detour of the Trumbull Street On-Ramp to I-91 NB and SB and the State Street On-Ramp to I-91 NB in New Haven is scheduled to occur Thursday, June 28th, 2012, between the hours of 10 PM and 5 AM. Closure and detour of the ramp is necessary to facilitate reconstruction of the interchange.
Motorists will be detoured to I-91 NB and SB via Trumbull Street , State Street, East Street, Grand Avenue , James Street , Lombard Street , Blatchley Street , and Willow Street . Signs will be posted to assist motorists.
All work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled if necessary.
The work in Contract E is part of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program and includes the reconstruction of the I-95/I-91/Route 34 Interchange. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2016 which finalizes the I-95 Improvement Program and its 7.2 miles of operational, safety and capacity improvements.
