Detour for Tree Removal Project on Baltic Road (SR 610) in Franklin
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a tree removal project will be performed on Baltic Road (SR 610) in Franklin. This work will require a detour to be implemented on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 through Thursday, March 8, 2012.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the detour. Motorists traveling northbound will remain on Route 32 north (Windham Turnpike) to Route 207 east (Pond Road). Motorists traveling west will remain on Route 207 west (Pond Road) to Route 32 south (Willimantic Road).
The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Tuesday – Thursday). Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
