Bridge Maintenance, I-95 Southbound in Bridgeport
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 Southbound in Bridgeport. 
The bridge maintenance work consists of bridge joint repairs on the I-95 Southbound bridge over Metro North Railroad in Bridgeport.  Motorists can expect lane closures to occur between Exit 26 (Wordin Avenue) and Exit 24 (Chambers Street) on the evening of Monday, August 13, 2012 to the morning of Friday, August 24, 2012.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday – Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
