Bridge Beam End Painting, Steel Repairs and Bearing Replacement / Various Bridges
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) is currently preparing contract plans and specifications for Project No. 0173-0421, the painting of beam ends, steel repairs, and bearing replacements on 5 bridges in various towns/cities.
The bridges are:
Bridge No. 00347 - Route 1 over the Hammonasset River, in Madison and Clinton.
Bridge No. 03093 - I-91 over North Front Street and the Quinnipiac River, in New Haven.
Bridge Nos. 03406A & B - Route 40 and Route 40 Ramp over I-91 and I-91 Ramps in North Haven.
Bridge No. 03093 - I-91 over North Front Street and the Quinnipiac River, in New Haven.
Bridge Nos. 03406A & B - Route 40 and Route 40 Ramp over I-91 and I-91 Ramps in North Haven.
Bridge No. 03126 - I-91 NB over I-91 Ramp No. 807 in Wallingford.
The present schedule indicates that the contract documents will be completed in July 2012 with construction anticipated to start in spring 2013.
