The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that all lanes on Route 9 North in New Britain near the intersection of Route 72 will be closed between 11 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012, and 5 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012.  The on-ramp from Chestnut Street to Route 9 north will also be closed during the same hours.  The alternate day for closure is currently Wednesday night, September 19, 2012, into Thursday morning, September 20, 2012.
Additional full closure of Route 9 northbound to Route 72 westbound is also being scheduled and a separate notice will be provided for this closure.
