Utility relocation on Flatbush Avenue, New Park Avenue and Newfield Avenue in the Towns of Hartford and West Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a utility relocation at Flatbush Avenue, New Park Avenue and Newfield Avenue, in the Towns of Hartford and West Hartford will begin on or about Monday August 22, 2011.

The contract, Project 63-669, was awarded to Ludlow Construction Company Inc. on June 3, 2011, at a cost of $3,860,869.10 and is scheduled to be completed by April 18, 2012.

The project consists of utility relocations at Flatbush Avenue, New Park Avenue and Newfield Avenue.

Motorists can expect lane closures throughout the project. The allowable work hours are:

All Roadways

Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Saturday – Sunday: All day.
