Route 49 (Pendleton Hill Road) Resurfacing Project in North Stonington - change in Work Hours

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a change in work hours will occur for the ongoing resurfacing of Route 49 (Pendleton Hill Road) between Route 216 (Clarks Falls Road) and the Voluntown Town Line. This project is expected to continue to Thursday, September 22, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project will now be 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday), in lieu of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
