Reconstruction Work To Begin July 11, 2011 on New State Road between Hillard Street and Middle Turnpike West in the Town of Manchester 

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the reconstruction of an approximately 1400 foot section of New State Road between Hillard Street and Middle Turnpike West in Manchester is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, July 11, 2011, and end on or about Monday, August 22, 2011.

The work consists of closing off roadway between Hillard Street and Middle Turnpike West for the removal of existing pavement, installation of drainage infrastructure and resurfacing paving.

DETOUR INFO- In effect between July 11, 2011 and August 22, 2011 as follows:

For Travel North on New State Road:  Right at the intersection of Middle Turnpike West & New State Road, Left on Adams Street, left on Hilliard street and Right on New State Road .

For Travel South on New State Road: Left on Hillard Street, Right on Adams Street, right on  Middle Turnpike West.

DOT Project No. 76-205, was awarded to Spazzarini Construction Corp. on March 16, 2010, at a cost of $5,278,865.33 and is scheduled to be completed by November 2011.
