Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 10 in Southington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 10 in Southington between the I-84/Route 10 Connector and Route 120 (Meriden Avenue). This project is expected to occur on Monday, August 1, 2011 to Thursday, August 11, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Thursday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
