Milling and Resurfacing Project on Pershing Drive (SR 727) in Ansonia/Derby
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Pershing Drive (SR 727) between Route 8 in Derby and Route 115 (Main Street) in Ansonia. This project is expected to begin the evening of Sunday, August 7, 2011 and continue to the morning of Friday, August 19, 2011.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday evenings). No work will be performed on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
