Milling and Resurfacing Project in Greenwich on Route 1 (West Putnam Avenue)

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 1 (West Putnam Avenue) between the New York State Line and Dearfield Drive in Greenwich. This project is expected to occur Sunday, September 25, 2011 to the morning of Friday, October 7, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
