Milling and Resurfacing on Route 1 from Route 136 to the Northern Junction of Crescent Road in Westport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 1 from Route 136 to the North Junction of Crescent Road in Westport. This project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, May 8, 2011 and continue through Thursday, May 12, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
