Bridge Maintenance on I-95 (Northbound) in Guilford (between Exits 58 and 61)

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge maintenance will be performed on the I-95 Northbound Bridge over Goose Lane in Guilford. Motorists can expect lane closures between Exit 58 (Route 77/Church St.) and Exit 61 (Route 79/Durham Rd.). This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, September 22, 2011 to the morning of Tuesday, September 27, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Thursday, Sunday & Monday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
