Bridge Maintenance on I-95 (North and Southbound)in Madison (between Exits 61 and 63 - Hammonasset Connector underpass)
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge maintenance will require lane closures on I-95 North and Southbound between Exits 61 and 63 (Hammonasset Connector underpass) in Madison. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, August 15, 2011 to the morning of Friday, August 19, 2011 (Southbound); and Monday, August 22, 2011 to the morning of August 26, 2011 (Northbound).
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Monday - Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
