Traffic Stage Change Scheduled for Whalley Avenue (Route 63) in the Vicinity of Route 69 in New Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Whalley Avenue from Glenview Terrace to Westerleigh Road will be realigned with one travel lane open in each direction for completion of the fourth stage of construction for the new box culvert. Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 9 a.m. and the traffic pattern will be effect until September 10, 2010.
The contractor will be working in the road to install the Stage 4 section of 12’ X 5’ box culvert and wing-walls.
The work is part of DOT Project No. 0092-0547, for the reconstruction of Route 63 (Whalley Avenue
