Route 184 Bridge over Whitford Brook in the Towns of Stonington and Groton Scheduled To Reopen on or about Wednesday, November 24, 2010

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the reopening of Route 184 between Shewville Road and Lantern Hill Road on or about Wednesday, November 24, 2010 as the bridge replacement project nears completion.

Area residents and travelers to the region are going to be able to use the new bridge by the Thanksgiving holiday.

DOT Project No. 0137-153 was awarded to Blakeslee Arpaia Chapman of Branford Connecticut on June 30, 2010 at a cost of $ 1,889,967.20 and is being administered by the Office of Construction District 2 Norwich.
