Route 15 Southbound Nighttime Closure and Detour at the Brainard Road Off-Ramp (Exit 87) in Hartford
The Department of Transportation is announcing that on Tuesday, January 26 through Thursday January 28, 2010, Route 15 southbound will be closed to traffic between the hours of 10 P.M. and 6 A.M. for the setting of structural steel, weather permitting. Friday, January 29, 2010 will also be included if weather conditions impact one of the scheduled nights.
Lane Closure information
Detour: Motorists will be directed off Route 15 southbound at Exit 87. Traffic will be able to re-enter Route 15 southbound from the off ramp. Route 15 northbound will be reduced to a single lane during these times. Traffic will be halted for a ten minute period, if needed, during lifting and positioning of the steel members.
