Resurfacing Project on Route 85 from Shady Brook Rest Area to Route 82 in Salem
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a paving project will be performed on Route 85 from Shady Brook Rest Area to Route 82 in Salem. This project is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 10, 2010 and Friday, June 11, 2010.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Thursday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
