Pavement Preservation Begins for I-395 in the Towns of East Lyme, Waterford and Montville
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of work for a pavement preservation project on I-395 in East Lyme, Waterford and Montville.  The work is scheduled to begin on or about May 13, 2010.   

The project consists of the milling and resurfacing of the travel lanes and installation of rumble strips.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

  • I-395 North, Exit 76 from I-95 (East Lyme/Waterford) to Exit 78 I-395 (Montville Connector)  Monday  through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and at anytime on weekends.

  • I-395 South, Exit 78 (Montville Connector) to Waterford Town Line- 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and from Montville town line to Exit 76 at I-95 (East Lyme/Waterford)- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and at anytime on weekends.

DOT Project 152-151 was awarded to Empire Paving, Inc. of North Haven, CT on April 13, 2010 at a cost of $2,973,382.68 and is scheduled to be completed in July 2010.
