Overhead Sign Support Structures Over I-95 between Exit 10 and 12 in the Town of Darien Scheduled to be Set Wednesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 17
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that night time lane closures and the halting of traffic will occur on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Exits 10 and 12 in the town of Darien to allow for the installation of overhead sign support structures.
Lane closures will begin at 9 p.m. and only one lane for traffic will be available beginning at 10 p.m. All traffic may be halted for ten (10) minute intervals between midnight and 2:00 am to allow the contractor to install the structure. In the event of inclement weather, the extended lane closure will occur on the next day.
DOT Project No. 0035-0188 was awarded to Guerrera Construction of Oxford, CT at a cost of $14,999,995.00 and is scheduled to be completed in May 2010.
