Overhead Sign Support Project on I-91 (southbound) at Exit 30 (I-84 EB) and I-84 (westbound) at Exit 48 (Capital Avenue) in Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an overhead sign project will be performed on I-91 (southbound) at Exit 30 and I-84 (westbound) at Exit 48 (Capital Avenue) in Hartford. The project will require both exits to be closed while the work is being performed. This project is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 15, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Thursday evening).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
