Milling and Resurfacing on Route 197 from Route 198 to the Quinebaug River overpass in Woodstock/Thompson
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 197 from Route 198 to the Quinebaug River overpass in Woodstock and Thompson. This project is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 10, 2010 and continue through Friday, September 24, 2010.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
