Milling and Resurfacing on Route 1 from Lathrop Avenue to the Rhode Island State Line in Stonington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 1 from Lathrop Avenue to the Rhode Island State Line in Stonington. This project is scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 21, 2010 and continue through Thursday, October 28, 2010.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
