Milling and Paving on Route 44 (Burnside Ave.) from end of overlap of Route 5 to Long Hill Road in East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 44 (Burnside Ave.) from end of overlap of Route 5 to Long Hill Road in East Hartford. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 19, 2010 and continue through Tuesday, August 10, 2010.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
