Milling and Paving on Route 33 from the Norwalk River Overpass to Signal Hill North in Wilton

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and paving project will be performed on Route 33 from the Norwalk River Overpass to Signal Hill North in Wilton. This project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 and continue through Friday, July 9, 2010.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday). No work will take place from Friday, July 2 through Monday, July 5, 2010 due to the Fourth of July Holiday weekend.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
