Grove Street and Prospect Hill in New Milford Realignment Completed

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the new permanent alignment of Grove Street and Prospect Hill Road at Bridge Street and East Street will be in effect starting August 31, 2010.

The present intersection will be closed off and Old Grove Street will be closed to all thru traffic except emergency vehicles. The intersection of Routes 67 and 202 will be controlled by a new four way traffic signal.

Expect alternating one-way traffic with possible delays during the remaining contract work. Bi-directional traffic will be maintained during rush hours.
