Day and Night Work To Begin Monday, June 7, 2010 On Route 229 between Redstone Hill Road and Lake Avenue in Bristol
The Department of Transportation announced today that lane widening and resurfacing work along Route 229 northbound between Redstone Hill Road and Lake Avenue in Bristol is scheduled to begin Monday June 7, 2010.
The contractor will be working during the day and night with a break in construction activity between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to accommodate rush hour traffic. After the northbound widening is completed the full width of the roadway will be milled and resurfaced. The work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, June 11.
