The State Department of Transportation announced today that Tree Work will be performed on Route 15 (southbound) between Exits 41 (Route 33) and 40 (Main Ave.) in Westport/Norwalk. This project is scheduled to begin on or about Wednesday, March 4, 2009 and continue through Tuesday, March 31, 2009. 

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Mondays - Fridays) weather permitting. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
