Traffic Signal Loop Sensor Installation on Route 34 Eastbound, West of the College Street On-Ramp in New Haven
The State Department of Transportation is announcing that a Loop Sensor Installation project will be performed on Route 34 (eastbound) just west of College Street on ramp in New Haven. This project is scheduled to take place on June 22, 2009 and Tuesday, June 23, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Tuesday) weather permitting. If cancelled the rain date will be Wednesday, June 24, 2009.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
