Traffic Shift Scheduled for Route 7 Danbury Reconstruction

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that as part of the widening of Route 7 in Danbury, the contractor will shift traffic on to the recently constructed pavement and bridge over Wooster Heights Road.

Route 7 southbound traffic will be shifted to the new pavement on or about October 15, 2009. Northbound traffic will be shifted approximately one week later. The northbound exit ramp to Danbury Airport will also be re-aligned during this period. Actual dates of the traffic shifts will depend on the weather during this period.
