Surface Treatment - I-84 (westbound) from Route 10 to Exit 30 (Marion Ave.) in Southington

The State Department of Transportation is announcing that a surface treatment project will be performed on I-84 (westbound) from Route 10 to Exit 30 (Marion Ave.) in Southington. This project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 and continue through Thursday, July 16, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday – Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
