Route 9 (southbound) Ramp Closure Exit 14 (deKoven Drive) off ramp in
The State Department of Transportation announced today that permit work will be performed on Route 9 (southbound) requiring the closure of the Exit 14 (deKoven Drive) off ramp in Middletown. This work is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 28, 2009 and continue through Saturday, October 10, 2009. This is a 24-hour-a-day operation and a posted detour will be in effect.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. Monday until completion.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
