Route 7 Wilton - Final Paving Scheduled to Begin on or about June 1, 2009
The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that the final paving of Route 7, Route 33 (Ridgefield Road) and the adjacent roads is scheduled to begin on or about June 1, 2009.  Work will begin at the northernmost end of the job (just north of Olmstead Hill Road) and progress south, ending at Wolfpit Road.
The work is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday, from 8:00pm to 6:00am each day, weather permitting.  It is anticipated that it will take several weeks to complete the paving.
Motorists should expect delays as there will be alternating one-way traffic and intermittent traffic stoppages.  Wilton police will be available to direct traffic and assist motorists.
Please use caution when traveling through the construction work zone to ensure the safety of motorists and construction personnel.
