Route 67 Detour in Effect in New Milford Starting on November 11, 2009

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today, the Route 67 bypass detour will be in effect starting November 11, 2009 for the realignment of Grove Street and Prospect Hill Road. This temporary bypass will be in effect for the construction of a new box culvert under Route 67 carrying Great Brook. The intersection of Routes 67 and 202 will be controlled by a new traffic signal.

Expect possible delays during construction for the setting of the box culvert sections. Bi-directional traffic will be maintained during rush hours.
