Public Information Meeting Regarding Status of Route 7 Construction in Wilton

The Connecticut Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Town of Wilton, will be holding a public information meeting regarding the Route 7 construction project on Wednesday night, April 1, 2009 at 7:30PM in the cafeteria at Cider Mill School, located at 240 School Road in Wilton.

Residents, commuters and other interested individuals are encouraged to attend for a general discussion about the construction project, progress to date and a timeline for road work and objectives in 2009.

The overall project to widen Route 7 in Wilton will accommodate two travel lanes, both northbound and southbound, for a length of approximately three miles from Wolfpit Road to Olmstead Hill Road. The project is scheduled for completion in 2010.
