Nightly Ramp Closures Scheduled for I-95 in Milford Beginning Week of August 24, 2009
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction work on I-95 in the town of Milford will require nighttime closures at interchanges 35, 36, 37, and 38 in both directions of I-95 the weeks of 8/24/09, 8/31/09, and 9/14/09.
The I-95 ramp closures are necessary for milling, concrete repair and paving operations.  The closures will occur Monday thru Thursday night between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and only one ramp will be allowed to be closed at a time.
The closures are scheduled as follows:

Week of 8/24/09

     - Interchange 36 (Plains Road) north/south on and off ramps                 

     - Interchange 37 (High Street) northbound off ramp

     - Interchange 38 (Route 15 Milford Connector) northbound off ramp   

Week of 8/31/09

- Interchange 36 (Plains Road) north/south on and off ramps    

Week of 9/14/09

- Interchange 36 (Plains Road) north/south on and off ramps            

- Interchange 37 (High Street) northbound off ramp 

- Interchange 38 (Route 15 Milford Connector) northbound off ramp

Week of 9/21/09

     - Interchange 35 (Bic Drive/School House Road) north and southbound on and off ramps

This schedule is subject to change. Signs will be posted in advance to advise motorists of ramp closures and also during closures to direct motorists to alternate routes.
