Milling project on Route 9 (southbound) in the vicinity of Exit 7 (Rte. 82) in Middletown

The State Department of Transportation announced today that a Milling a project will be performed on Route 9 (southbound) in the vicinity of Exit 7 (Rte. 82) in Middletown. This project is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 9, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday evening).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
