Milling and Resurfacing on I-91 (north) from Route 372 to West Street in Cromwell/Rocky Hill to be Extended

The State Department of Transportation announced today that the milling and resurfacing project that was being performed on I-91 (north) from Route 372 in Cromwell to West Street in Rocky Hill has been extended.This project is scheduled for remedial work on Wednesday evening, September 9, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. Wednesday to 5:00 a.m. Thursday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
