Milling and Resurfacing - Route 17 from Middletown Avenue to Route 80 and Route 80 from Route 17 to the East Haven Town Line in New Haven
The State Department of Transportation announced today that a Milling and Resurfacing project will be performed on Route 17 from Middletown Avenue to Route 80 and on Route 80 from Route 17 to the East Haven Town Line in New Haven. This project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 and continue through Tuesday, September 22, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
