I-95 (southbound and northbound) Bridge Maintenance on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge in New London/Groton

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge maintenance will be performed on I-95 (southbound and northbound) on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge in New London/Groton on the evenings of December 21 and December 22, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday and Tuesday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that further modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
