I-95 (northbound) Gold Star Memorial Bridge between Exits 83 and 85 in New London/Groton

The State Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 (northbound) on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge between Exits 83 and 85 in New London/Groton.  This project is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 19, and continue through Monday, November 23, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday - Friday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
