Hollow Tree Ridge Road over I-95 in Darien is Scheduled to Open to Traffic on Friday, October 30, 2009, Weather Permitting
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the reopening of Hollow Tree Ridge Road between Linden Avenue and the Noroton Heights Rail Station in Darien on Friday, October 30, 2009, weather permitting.
Hollow Tree Ridge Road has been closed to traffic for approximately one year to allow for the replacement of the bridge as well as reconstruction of approaches to the bridge extending to the Noroton Heights Railroad Station entrance.   In the event of a weather delay, the bridge will reopen during the week of November 2, 2009.

The contract was awarded to Mohawk Northeast, Inc. at a cost of $5,159,874.50 and is scheduled to be completed before the end of November 2009 not May 2010 as previously reported.
