Danbury - Nighttime closure of Wooster Heights Road at Intersection of Route 7 to Facilitate Bridge Construction

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that as part of the widening of U.S. Route 7 in Danbury, the contractor will have a nighttime closure of Wooster Heights Road at Route 7 the weekend of August 28, 2009 for approximately 3 consecutive nights.

The road will be closed from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The closure will facilitate the construction of the new Route 7 bridge over Wooster Heights Road. This work is weather-dependent.

Detours will be posted in the area using Route 7 and local roads. Motorists should follow the posted signs.

Motorists are urged to use caution through this and all other construction work zones.
