Bridge Work on Route I-95 (north & south) from Exit 2 in Greenwich to Exit 16 in Norwalk

The State Department of Transportation announced today that a Bridge Maintenance project will be performed on I-95 (north & south) from Exit 5 in Greenwich to Exit 16 in Norwalk. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 17, 2009 and continue to Friday, August 28, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday - Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
