Bridge Inspection on the Arrigoni Bridge - Route 66 Middletown/Portland

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that bridge inspection work will be performed on Route 66(eastbound and westbound) between Spring Street and Marlborough Street in Middletown and Portland (Arrigoni Bridge). This project is scheduled to take place Monday, January 19 through Friday, January 23, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to close the right lane of the bridge. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
