The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that routine bridge inspection work will be performed on Route 130 (Stratford Avenue) between Waterview Avenue and Seaview Avenue in Bridgeport.

To facilitate the inspection process, it will be necessary to close Route 130 (Stratford Avenue) to traffic. A Detour route will be in place to redirect motorists. This project is scheduled to take place on December 15, 2009 through December 17, 2009, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
