The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that bridge inspection work will be performed on I-84 (Eastbound) between Exits 53 and 58 in East Hartford. This project is scheduled to take place on Sunday March 15, 2009. 

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
