Traffic Shift on Route 7 in
The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that a traffic shift on Route 7 between Allen’s Meadows (in the vicinity of
Route 7 northbound and southbound traffic will be shifted from its current alignment to the newly constructed pavement on the west side of the road, to allow for work on the east side of the road. During the work to shift traffic on Route 7,
Motorists should expect delays, due to alternating one-way traffic and intermittent traffic stoppages, while the work takes place. It is anticipated that this traffic configuration will continue until the Spring of 2009.
