The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that Test Boring Operations will be taking place in Danbury on I-84 Eastbound in the vicinity of I-84 over Kohanza Street (0.15miles west of the Exit 5 off ramp).

This operation will require closure of the right lane. The lane closure is scheduled to periodically take place between 8:00 pm to 6:00 am on one or more of the following nights; Thursday June 5^th , Tuesday June 10^th, Wednesday June 11^th and Thursday June 12^th. Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
