NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that a Bridge Maintenance project will be performed on

I-95 (northbound) between Exits 66 and 67 in Old Saybrook. This project is scheduled to occur on or about Tuesday, September 16, 2008 and continue through Thursday, September 18, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Tuesday - Thursday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
